Transworld St. Louis 2009... Will it be "the larry Show"?
It is the Transworld show. It is not "The Larry Show"
I personally do not know Larry K. but from what I gather, he is a bit of an eccentric genius in this field: my collective take on Larry is that He is extremely well connected, he’s controversial, he is a restless visionary with grand scale imagination, and yes, to some, he is a bit of a problem child. These are all characteristics of what make extraordinary A types extremely e… Continue

I've been informed that there is a rumor that the reason for my move to Mishawaka is that I/Sinister Visions has been hired full-time by Imagination Publications (owners of 13th Hour Magazine). This is not true.
Sinister Visions is doing some work for 13th Hour Magazine, and they happen to be based in Mishawaka. Apparently somebody just took their own assumptions as fact and started flapping their gums. Feel free to correct anybody you hear spreading this rumor, preferably with a flyswatter or,… Continue

I wanted to do something different this year and provide a more personal viewpoint of MHC ’08 than I have in the past.
Our weekend started on Wednesday when we checked into the hotel. Being back at the Hyatt Regency was very nice as we were already familiar with the facility. After a day of meetings with the hotel and the convention center we were off to dinner with a lot of the people already in for the convention. Twenty five of us enjoyed a great Italian dinner and had a good time talking ab… Continue
Fellow Haunters,
Many of you are true inspirations to me and have become good friends. I always share my experience and try to do my part to take haunting to a higher level.
I consulted many of you on the idea to bring high end costumes to the haunt industry this year. We have been a vendor at Transworld, HauntCon and MHC so far this year. Our goal was to sell enough costumes to employ our artists in the off season. We surpassed that goal before we left Vegas!
We have sold to Six Flags, zoos,… Continue

Oh give me a deer
Whom the buffalo fear
That breathes fire and can bite holes in cars
Who rips hunters to shreds
And collects all their heads
Whose genetics are straight from the stars
Deer, mutated deer
They're the bane of all hunters at large
They'll tip over your truck
And you're flat out of luck
You'll be turned to terrestrial snarge Continue

The following is for a fundraiser to help fellow HauntUniverse member Nancy Allen!
Haunters for Hooters: The Nancy Collection I designed a special set of Jewelry for Nancy Allen and Haunters for Hooters, a non-profit fundraiser with 100% of profits going to brave breast cancer fighters.
Some of the most prominent names that make “scary” their business are pulling every skeleton out of the ground to raise money…
I'm by no means an expert at sculpting and mold making but I am teaching myself everything I can. With each new creation I learn a lot more and get better at it.
I have decided to revamp or remake Pigman the old Pigman was built up on my face with latex cotton balls and paper towels and is very heavy for a long night of haunting and it gets thicker everytime I glue it on.
This is the Old Pigman

...a buddy of mine who loves to write and draw thoroughly enjoys the smell of fresh pencil shavings. I mean "enjoys" to the point of "mood-altering".
Now you could ponder: Does he like to write and draw because it's an excuse to sharpen pencils a lot, or does the smell of fresh pencil shavings remind him of his favourite activities... writing and drawing...? In full truth I have to consider this question to be entirely philosophical and of no real economic import; first things have to come firs… Continue
