When you add a Web address that way you just get
< a href="http://something.com" >< /a > (I added spaces to inactivate the code)

You need to put the clickable text between the opening and closing tags, e.g.:
< a href="http://something.com" >SOMETHING< /a >

That way SOMETHING shows up and it really will be SOMETHING.

No problem. I know everything. Just ask my exwife...!

...except... having found a rhyme for "Ocracoke" the challenge is now to rhyme with "Kitty Hawk"

and "little bitty Ewok" is A\ pathetic and B\ best I got so far
